The challenge
The brief called for a plant housing cutting, assembly, painting and storage of playground equipment under one roof, on a schedule tight enough for production to start within the same year.
Our solution
We specified a steel superstructure, letting the frame be fabricated in the factory while earthworks and foundations proceeded on site. The layout was organised as a single clear-span hall so the production line can be rearranged, with a separate storage and loading zone.
